Highlights from the PBSA mid-year legislative conference 2021

PBSA conferences are always filled with knowledgeable speakers and timely information sessions. The mid-year sessions are normally held in Washington DC and include opportunities to lobby Congressional leaders regarding legislation that is important to the background screening industry. Major Credit Bureaus Removing Tax Liens from Credit Reports

March 26, 2018

The nationwide consumer credit bureau TransUnion has announced its intention to cease reporting tax lien data on its consumer credit reports starting the week of April 16, 2018 to better meet the standards of the National Consumer Assistance Plan (“NCAP”), an initiative started by the three major nationwide consumer credit bureaus.
